WHO WE ARE

We, ENSO MERAKI are a multi-disciplinary creative studio.

We work together to design, create and produce work that we are proud of, for folks that we believe in. We are available to customize a wide range of creative disciplines for a variety of products, from t-shirts to desk planters to mugs to mouse pads to diary covers to note cards and many many more. Fabulously stunning, to creative and witty AF (sometimes bordering on offensive for which we had to eventually dedicate an entire section!) designs on a variety of products is what we aim for. Our crazy ass products are designed and printed specifically to get laughs out of you and sometimes keep you thinking for a bit.

OUR STORY

In the winter of 2016, on one of our bike rides, we met and instantly became friends sharing a love of meat, fun, creative art, pulling each other’s legs and beer. This love went on hold…ish (it kept coming up every time we met on rides) until the pandemic of 2020. With too much of free time and works of ‘art’ and designs piling up, we decided to take the leap of faith and formed “ENSO MERAKI STUDIO”, a diverse, draw-it-by-hand, make-it-from-scratch, do-it-together creative studio, in a living room over endless conversations and even more endless cups of chai and coffee.

 

Over the years Enso Meraki has worked on a wide range of unique projects with some of our closest friends to people across the country. We strive to keep our work unique and smart with room for a lot of magic. We are constantly researching for updates and new ways to add more uniqueness and magic to our work.

 

Enso Meraki is for the BOLD, DETERMINED, CREATIVE, WITTY and FUN LOVING!

 

 

AND NOW FOR ALL OF YOU WONDERING WHY WE’RE NAMED ‘ENSO MERAKI STUDIO’

Well……..for starters..it sounds fancy AF. Ok ok….just joking around coz its time for some coffee, but on a more serious note, ‘Enso’ is essentially a Japanese word, which is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism meaning ‘Circle’, or sometimes ‘Circle Of Togetherness’. It is a disciplined creative practice of the drawing of a circle in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. The exact same way we need our music and chai and coffee for our work to start. No music, chai and coffee… no work…no work…no music, chai and coffee….vicious ‘CIRCLE’ see?

 

‘Meraki’ on the other hand is of Greek origin. It’s a word that means doing something with soul, creativity and love. To put something of yourself into your work. And that is exactly how we function.

 

We at Enso Meraki love what we do – the designs (custom too), products, marketing and everything else in between. We absolutely love making people laugh! From sitting at chai kitlis, to cafes, to restaurants and hearing a group of friends chat and the ‘COLORFUL’ language that gets used, to the way that language changes once an ‘ADULT’ is around has amused us to no end. To be able to wear that SWAG ATTITUDE DISCREETLY---ISH while being absolutely comfortable and/or having a product that can be pointed to in ‘Times Of Need’ is what our goal is. We do have a family-oriented range as well so nobody feels left out. Each person is special in their own way and they deserve only the best that’s out there.

 

The commitment to our work and our customers is a bond that cannot be broken. We are completely dedicated and committed to making sure all our products are delivered on or before time and that they are completely satisfied. They can contact us anytime and we’d more than happy to help with anything. Nothing we do is random, and we always leave room for inspiration. We’re a little delulu coz its good for the solulu. We came across this slang a little while ago and I had to use it coz it made us laugh no end and maybe if you get to all the way down here you deserve to laugh too!
